what is happy medium coffee?

Happy Medium Coffee is our locally roasted coffee, made right here in Cambridge, Minnesota. We roast in small batches so every bag is fresh, intentional, and consistent in quality.


We source 100% organic, fair trade beans grown by the women of the RAOS Cooperative. We choose our coffee based on taste, and just as importantly, on the impact it has on the people and places behind it.


RAOS is a smallholder cooperative made up of hundreds of farmers, including a strong group of women producers. A large part of their work focuses on creating more opportunities and equity for women in coffee farming, especially around land ownership and access to credit and financing before harvest. Their goal is simple but powerful: better access, better support, and a fairer shot at long term stability for women farmers and their families.
